$708.37 bill and I don't cook or do laundry here. Everything is electric.
Call to leave me a message that I'm eligible for disconnect but when I call back, they are closed.
Won't even let me sign in online . Even thier website is *** How do they not get put in jail for fraud and theft and being a monopoly?

My gas bill nearly tripled as compared to 2021. Why did I just get a $326 bill in June when I don't EVEN use much gas?
It's a monopoly and they are draining people dry. It's corrupt.

My entire winter bills were "Estimated", gas price were at 0.55 to 0.68 during the winter season. When they increased the gas price to 1.11 in May, the bill suddenly became "Actual".
Not "Estimated" anymore! They claimed more than 200 reading differences accumulated from the winter season, but they charged this 200 reading differences at 1.11. I called customer service, as a result, they sent me an even ridicules bill!
Can somebody tell me what to do with a company like this? I wish I can grade this company zero star.

10 in the morning or midnight...the website will not let you connect to pay your bill. I really hope these *** come looking for late fees.

Turn on gas
My gas is off and I paid the amount to turn it on. Now I'm trying to make an appointment to turn it on and they're closed foe holiday.
I have a child and 3 cats here. I have asthma and it's cold which is activating my asthma.

I need help please!!! With my bill payment, I deleted it
I received an email earlier in March with a bill due on 4/4/22. However I accidentally delete it before I could pay it and youve always deducted it automatically before. Please help me so I am not late with my payment!

No service no options.
Tenant left and I am trying to sell house. Did not realize Gad was turned off until while showing the house is colder inside then out.
Call Nicor, no way to talk to a live person unless an emergency so I called emergency. Cannot help until offices open on Monday. Temperatures could drop and freeze pipes but they dont care.
Its a switch to turn it on.
They could take my credit card, but no. Wait until Monday.
Being in the northern planes of the United States where at this time of the year its in the 20-30s.

Terminate service
I sold my home and will be moving. Need to do paperwork and date to stop gas. I want Nicor Gas to stop gas on December 3rd , 2021

You can stop using them. Hope this helps.
"Estimated". Your problem summed up in a single word.
You are within your rights to insist upon an actual reading each month or are often permitted to read it yourself and submit the numbers. There will be at least one month per year when the meter is read and the account billed up to date. Usually you will have to pay, because "estimates" are often on the low side to prevent riots from people like yourself.
But the bill invariably comes due and must be paid. Same with "budget" plans ; there is a day of reckoning (usually in June).
